t&j are doing well. jordan cries pretty hard and heavy for about 5 minutes when we put him in the crib, but then he settles down and mostly sleeps through the night now. taylor is having a bit more trouble as she can't seem to stop the movement long enough to settle down. she is creeping and semi-crawling all around her drib. the other night i went up to check on why she was crying and she was sitting in the corner of the crib, seemingly unable to figure out how to lay back down. her new trick is sitting up from a laying down position and it is quite a maneuver to observe. so there is a lot of laying back down help needed for her at night. she has a cold and an ear infection going on too, so laying down flat is painful and produces much snot. she is alternating between falling asleep in the swing, our bed, and the crib. once she is out, though, she is sleeping through the night mostly. all is usually quiet at our house from about 9 pm to 6 am. they go down around 630 or 7 pm, so the first few hours are tough and there is lots of resettling needed. but, overall, i think we are happy with how things are going. hope things are still going well with the punk!
