Toothless nap? Or napless tooth?

Tooth #3 has broken the surface. You can't really see it but you can feel the hard little nub. Woah. Tooth #3.

Also, it took nearly 45 minutes to make the afternoon nap happen, even though she was completely and totally exhausted. I had to actually hold her so that she couldn't move so that she would struggle until she gave up and fell asleep. That never happens.

I'm sure the two are related, but right now I'm too frazzled to care. I hope this isn't a preview of the night to come.

Do you medicate for teething? I've decided to keep motrin and hylands teething tablets on hand, and they do make Caiti more comfortable. The hylands seem to just take the edge off the crankiness, and the motrin helps with the swelling AND the pain.

Teething blows. It hurts them so much and it makes life miserable.

love to you and Punk.

Teething doesn't seem to bother her all that much, really. Or maybe it's hard to tell because she's clingy and whiny and a bad sleeper all the time. ;) But I do use hylands tabs (haven't seen a difference) and tonight I did load her up with Orajel. If she wakes up upset (instead of just waking up and wanting resettling) I will probably tylenol or motrin her.

Love!
