How are you trying to take them out? Your thumb never needs to go in the corner of your eye. If you take your thumb and forefinger and put them together at a little bit of an angle you just put the angle right in front of your pupil and pluck the contact out.

When my husband was trying to take them in and take them out the way the eye doctor showed him he was failing miserably and hating them. Then I showed him how I do it and he started doing it my way and was much more successful. The doctor's make it harder than it is, I swear.

I can make a video of me taking them out on my phone and post if you want. Maybe it would help to see someone else do it? Contacts are so great once you get used to them!
