aww i'm sorry you are stressed over this. but you two have been wanting Jen to be able to get more involved in a full time position. and it's going to be a great opportunity for you both!

i think, really, the child care situation has a potential to work itself out. it may take some time (and a fuck of a lot of juggling) but i do predict it will be in your favor in the long run.
