J turned 3 at the end of May and had no interest in potty training. All summer he was at a summer camp where every kid in his group was trained except him - and he still had no interest and clearly peer pressure had no influence. We tried it all - rewards, stickers, cool potty - but didn't push it too much. He started preschool in September on a Thursday and after one day there decided he was a big boy and that was that. We went to the movies on Sat and he had one accident after the movie (I had brought a towel for him to sit on in case), but after that he was trained for day for everything. He actually was trained for night then as well - he could hold it all night and was dry in the mornings - but he was too lazy to use the potty first thing so we kept pullups on him overnight for about a year. So I am a firm believer that once a kid's ready, they're ready, and pushing them to conform doesn't work. So it's great that Punk is interested now - go Punk!
