this is pretty much how it happened with meyer. we showed him how to pee in the potty, bought rewards, had a little toddler potty...and we just got lazy and stopped pushing it after like, two weeks. then he just decided to do it. he was day-time potty trained by 2 1/2, and overnight by 3. i *do* think kids need to do it in their own time. i have so many friends that cried and bribed and struggled and it didn't happen any faster.

so yeah, rock on with the underpants, little lady!
(one thing we did do was make him go pee right before bed and limit beverages in the evening)
