Hey beautiful, Yesterday I was in Baton Rouge having dinner with some people, and happened to mention Philmont in the conversation. After dinner a young woman came up to me, saying that I looked familar and asking if I had worked at Philmont. I told summer 97,98, and she had worked both summers also, the first at PTC, and then next at head of dean. Her name was Adrienne Vargas, or Var?????. I thought maybe she had worked on the kitchen staff. I did not have much time to talk to her, but I was just wondering if the name sounded familar to you at all. Also, do you still have your list of philmont names and addresses? Just wondering. It just seemed so unlikely to bump into a Philmont alum in an Indian restarant in Louisiana.
Debbie, of Kevin and Debbie would have had a lot to say about this topic of autism, as she teaches a autistic child sign language to communicate. Anyway, talk to you later. mike
The name sounds familiar, and I think she DID work food service at PTC in 1997. I think she was a brunette, and was maybe just out of high school? I could have her mistaken with someone else, though.
