Well, I think Metformin during pregnancy IS being looked into, and like any other new interventions, lots of people have different opinions on it (which is okay). Right now I'm much more conservative about that sort of thing, but you can bet your butt I would probably be singing a different tune if I had a miscarriage. That's so awful and I hope neither of us will have to go through that (again for you). :(

My doctor said that if you wait until a positive pregnancy test, you end up taking Metformin at least until implantation and he feels like there is some benefit there. But yeah, if I ended up having a miscarriage I would definitely talk to him about that more.
