Lemonade

It's a time like this when I really wish there was someone to hang out with in/near my neighborhood. It's so gorgeous outside and I just wish someone could come over so we could sit on the porch, drink lemonade, and chat.

Dang.

A place I used to live in PA was in "town" (it was a small town) but true to a lot of PA towns everyone had a front porch and at night we would all go out and sit on it. Many nights I'd just go over sit on my neighbor's pourch for about an hour to chat about nothing.

Some days I miss that. Down here in NC it's so hot right now so no deck sitting. Plus I we not live in the country and only have one neighbor and they are 90+.

When I lived in Columbus, I often spent time on people's porches. I could walk up the street to my friend Sean's porch. (He shaved my head there a couple of times.) Sometimes I would drive out to Carina's porch. I just love porches. (I did not have a porch.)

I also like finding cafes and coffee shops that have patio seating. I love being outside!
