What a fantastic birth story. I love how in control you remained and how well attuned to your body you seemed to have been. Not having given birth, I don't know if this is super common, but I haven't read other accounts like this too often. Sounds like things really went well!

I can see why they were talking about it around the birthing center. Way to make a memorable entrance, August! And hooray for a relatively easy birth. My mom had a total of 4 hours from the time she had her first contraction until the time I was delivered. I always wish the same fate for others!
