how are the cats doing with her? do you have to keep them away from her when she is sleeping?

just curious as i have no idea what to expect with cats and newborns; how concerned/protective do you really have to be?

I can't answer for her, but my cats are fine with my baby. They'll come up and sniff her every once in a while, and one of them made the "Ew, it stinks" face, but for the most part... they're just staying away from her. They've kinda accepted her, but are still a bit... skittish. They haven't tried to hurt her, which is what we were worried about.

The cats don't bother with her at all. Every once in a while one of them will sniff her, but for the most part they just sit around looking lonely and dejected. :)
