Blissful silence

So every so often, like right now, the baby is asleep and I get a few moments to do something with two hands. And after I eat something (which is always #1), I usually go down the list of things I should be doing:

washing diapers
doing laundry
cleaning house
writing thank you cards

and then decide to goof on the computer instead. So then I think that I should take some time to answer my e-mail and my back LJ comments. And I realize that I have 120+ LJ comments sitting in my inbox...

and suddenly laundry seems like the quicker, easier option.

Woah.

I try to do that, too..., unfortunately it comes out like this:

put in laundry, run upstairs and check on baby, wash bottles, make formula, pick up puked-on clothes, hear baby cry, go get baby, forget about laundry...

You can come use our washer/dryer anytime!
