My friend Scott's mom died completely unexpectedly this evening. I don't know the circumstances at all, but my heart just breaks for him and crena and their kids. Scott's mom was such a wonderful, kind, bright woman. She will surely be missed, and by a lot of people.

I feel so helpless about the whole situation. I know that they would call on me if there was something I could do for them, and I also know that there's likely nothing I can do right now except offer my condolences and my heart. I know all too well the chaos that ensues when losing a parent, especially unexpectedly, and especially so young.
