Clap Your Hands

Punk, who is 10 months old today I might add, claps on cue. She actually did it a few days ago but I thought it was a fluke or a coincidence. Because NORMAL babies like to clap when you say, "Yaaaay!" I have been yaying like a maniac for weeks. No go. Because of course that can't be good enough for my Punk. Oh no.

She claps when you say, "Clap your hands." What an overachiever!

That's great! I wonder if "wash the dishes" would work...

That's so funny. Ben is the same way. Actually, he only claps when we say "clap clap clap." We're not big clappers ourselves so we forget to do it a lot. I feel like a bad clapping role model.

That's so cute! it's fun when they respond to real english. Yesterday, I told Z to "put the post-it in the jar with the duck" and he turned around and did it. Wacky. (Okay, so that wasn't a normal request, but he parsed it anyway!)
