HATE THE CONTACTS

It just took me a ridiculous amount of time to take my right contact out. My right contact is harder to get out than my left I guess because of trying to fit my right thumb in the little corner of my eye. Yuck. Anyway, I couldn't get it out and scratched my eye a million times in the process. And then eventually it was out.

...and it is misshapen. Obviously that explains how hard it was to get out or whatever but how would that happen? I have worn these contacts all of 5 times and they are 30 wear lenses. Why would it get warped? It's like it's bent or has a ripple in the edge. WTF? And now my eye is all kinds of irritated.

I am so cheesed about this. I wish I hadn't ordered more contacts. HATE.

Hang in there with it - i was on softs for 3 years recently, before switching back to the awesomeness that is gas perms.

Anyway, soak it overnight and see if it doesn't rebound. But my last 4 pack, which is supposed to last me a year, of lefts had 2 contacts with flaws that made them utterly unwearable. My doctor would have been willing to send them back for replacements for free, if i hadn't decided for unrelated reasons to switch back. If it doesn't rebound overnight, call your doctor and see if your manufacturer replaces flawed contacts.

And good luck. I've been on contacts since 1981 and except for the brief foray into soft lenses i've had great luck with them and would never switch back to glasses again. Hopefully you, too, are compatible :)
