CRAP!

Oh holy crap on a crap cracker! I'm pretty sure my keys (house, car, work) are in Jen's glove compartment at her job.

Eff Dash Dash Dash, WTF am I supposed to do now??!?!

ETA: Can AAA get into my car without breaking it? I have a valet key in my glove compartment and could go to Jen's work.

Yes, AAA can get in without breaking anything. I've called them here a couple of times for our keys.

Some models are easier than others, but in general, there's a ~99% chance of Yes.

yeah, they totally can.

Yeah about 99.9% of the time they can get in through the door jam or window barrier. Don't try it with a coat hanger yourself, you'll probably end up scratching stuff and I never know exactly what I'm supposed to be latching or unlatching down there.

Not only can they get in without breaking it, they will do so in such a rapid, efficient fashion that you will wonder what the point is to locking your door in the first place.

Ain't that the truth, you are SO right about that!!

Now that I know you're unlocked and free - just wondering, how did that happen, that all of your keys wound up elsewhere?

When we went out on Saturday, we each had our keys and I put mine in Jen's glove compartment when we went into the mall. And then I never got them out because we drove her car on Sunday.

Yes, let AAA do it.

If they can't and your keys are lost and gone forever, the ultimate option is to have a car dealer look up your VIN and get you a new key that way.
