I hate when I have to follow up on a consequence for my kid that hurts me. Punk is not allowed to go to see a friend's newborn baby tonight because she didn't nap today and was acting horridly. But that means I don't get to see the newborn baby, either.

SUCK.

Oh, I know it's the right thing to do and all. But it just feels like when I was a teenager and my little sister would sneak out of the house and then we would BOTH get an early curfew.

I hear ya. I really wanted to see Toy Story 3 in the theater with Catherine, but her listening ears were not turned on that day so we couldn't go.

Randy and I had to cancel a date yesterday b/c of Simon acting insane. It sucks, but it's totally worth following through. I PROMISE.
