(N)O Christmas Tree

We're not getting a Christmas tree this year. It doesn't really make sense to do it and Hurricane Tukey would destroy it, I think. The living room (the only place we can really put a tree) is kind of his safe space where all of his toys are, and I would have to move half of his toys and keep him out of his safe space, so that doesn't make sense at all. Maybe I will hang some garland on the ceiling and hang ornaments from it. I don't know. It's kind of sad, but I guess there is next year.

Punk is sad about not having a tree so I think I will buy a small fake tree and put it in her room. Maybe I will put her presents under her own tree, wouldn't that be something? I'd have to sneak into her room though. That could be disastrous!

Aaah, it's that time again.

Tuke had his first birthday party yesterday. It was a smashing success. Pun intended.

My ex and I used to put a tiny little xmas tree on top of a bookcase because my cats would eat it otherwise, they eat anything that looks like a plant, including a fake tree, including the top of a pineapple.

Now, I un-Christmas, so...

Ralph used to eat plants but never ate the tree. She would pull all of the ornaments down, though. Stupid Fin would always just try to eat plastic (of course).

I stopped putting up a tree when we had a cat, and we also don't really celebrate. The tree in Punk's room sounds super cute though!!

I'm looking but i just...don't see those b-day pictures :)

Ha! They are on my wife's camera which means no one will ever see them, not even me.

I remember your huge Christmas tree that day I came to see you!

What about buying some green garland and taping it to the wall in a Christmas tree shape so Punk can decorate it? I love those tiny tabletop trees with bitty decorations...that's a great decoration! Putting the Christmas tree in a playpen?

My kids have their own Charlie Brown tree upstairs this year, and they made ornaments to decorate it. Super cute. They will each get a couple presents under their tree, and the rest with the big tree downstairs.

I love having a huge tree and it smells soooooo good. I might have to at least get a fresh wreath for the front door so I can have that smell.

I don't know if I have enough wall to put garland... but I am getting her a little tree and I might get a tabletop tree as well. We'll see.

Ho ho ho.

We made a Christmas tree shaped pattern of ornaments on our wall for a few years, and hung lights in the same shape around the ornaments. It was cool

I wonder if I have enough wall space.

I live in a tiny house.
