Oh yes, wait a minute, Mr. Postman...

In the past two days, the mail carrier has left me FIVE letters from a very special girl.

I would write more here, but I need to go write a letter on paper. Or two.

p.s. Jennifer, you asked me why I chose Griffin and Sebine for your holiday present, well before we began our written correspondence. I'd like to say that I'm just incredibly clever that way (and that might be true!), but in actuality it was something that came to me one night before bed. The Griffin and Sebine series contains some of my favorite books for so many reasons: the art, the handwriting, the feeling of voyeurism, the idea of having private insight into the working mind of the creative, the fun of it all... I wanted to share it with you. I thought you would enjoy them. I told you in the inscription that the book contains three things that I was already associating with you: art, friendship, and correspondence. I'm thrilled we expanded our correspondence from typed text to telephone to tangible keepsakes.

Thank you for your letters, all. I treasure every one, every page, every word.

Tell me I'm what your mouth was made for."

Before I shut the computer off for the night...

Thanks for calling me, Kristofer! It was nice to talk, even if it was just for a couple of minutes in traffic.

HUGS! :)
