[livejournal.com profile] badadam: that makes cool beep beep noises
[livejournal.com profile] badadam: and we'll have a computer room

[livejournal.com profile] badadam: and camp out in front of the TV
[livejournal.com profile] smurfchick: OMG OMG OMG
[livejournal.com profile] smurfchick: I am practically crying that sounds so good.

That does sound so good.

I reread your paper last night. About three times. And it made me think about a lot of things. I don't really know how to explain what I mean.

I'm having this kind of issue that I would really like your opinion on. This morning, I tried talking to a peer leader about it, and what I said shocked her. Anyway, can we im or something sometime over the weekend?

[identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com 2002-05-16 09:04 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll be gone over the weekend, but I'll be back online Sunday night. I would love to IM you about this, but please keep in mind that I'm terrible company and in a perpetual bad mood.

That said, I'd love to help my CappucinoGrrl in any way I can. :)

HUGS.

[identity profile] cappucinogrrl.livejournal.com 2002-05-16 09:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm. Monday, I have a paper due, which means Sunday night I'll be writing it, which means Sunday night, I'll be procrastinating.

Tu es not terrible company!

You are such a help, you don't even know. Thank you Judey.

[identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com 2002-05-16 09:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Nah, I'm terrible company these days. I just am.

But I will look for you when you are procrastinating like a bad girl being a good student on Sunday night!

Smoocher.

[identity profile] cappucinogrrl.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 08:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Thank you, Judiekins.

I don't know where that came from. I don't really want to.

[identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com 2002-05-18 07:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Hee! :) My family calls me "Judie."

[identity profile] cappucinogrrl.livejournal.com 2002-05-18 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Aw!

My family calls me "Emmy".

[identity profile] cappucinogrrl.livejournal.com 2002-05-19 08:40 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. Sometimes people call me on the phone, and my mom will yell "Emmy!", and then whoever is calling has a knack of teasing me bout it.

And some people do it to get my attention.

But I don't mind.

[identity profile] cappucinogrrl.livejournal.com 2002-05-16 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
And by the way, Of Mice and Men is oh so good. I loved the Gary Sinise/John Malkovich movie of it, too.

[identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com 2002-05-16 09:14 pm (UTC)(link)
True story:

When I read Of Mice and Men in 9th Grade, I was so upset by the ending that I ripped up my paperback while on the phone with a friend. I felt so let down, like someone killed my dog.

[identity profile] cappucinogrrl.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 08:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Aw. Yeah, we saw the movie first, and then read the book. But I just cried, and thought how wonderful Lenny and George were.

[identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com 2002-05-18 08:08 pm (UTC)(link)
They were, indeed, wonderful.

Want an alien yard gnome? I bought one from Archie McPhee in late 2000 but haven't had a yard to put it in for nearly a year now. It doesn't like my mother's garden and I'm building an elf house for the garden anyway, so I'm looking for a good home to send my alien gnome to. It's really cute...

[identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 05:55 am (UTC)(link)
I think I'm scared of an alien yard gnome.

[identity profile] mightywombat.livejournal.com 2002-05-16 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
ARGH! I want that life! I need the coolest girlfriend in the world... and she needs to not be gay. *pout*

[identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 05:56 am (UTC)(link)
There are lots of cool straight girls. Like my [livejournal.com profile] happy2beso or my [livejournal.com profile] crena or my [livejournal.com profile] siercia or my [livejournal.com profile] prunesnprisms or lots of others!

[identity profile] prunesnprisms.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 07:15 am (UTC)(link)
I'm a cool straight girl!

Thank you Jude. =)

[identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 07:18 am (UTC)(link)
Welcome!

[identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com 2002-05-18 07:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I think they're happy where they are!

[identity profile] iansha.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
Can I move in too?!?!! :D

[identity profile] iansha.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 06:05 am (UTC)(link)
It sounds like summer camp... but only /cooler/.
And its got The JUDE! Wooo!

[identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 06:13 am (UTC)(link)
Everything's cooler with Jude.

[identity profile] iansha.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 07:23 am (UTC)(link)
I am sure it is!
But won't Adam get jealous of your cuddling with me? ;)

[identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 07:24 am (UTC)(link)
Jealous? He's my brother, of course not.

[identity profile] iansha.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 07:28 am (UTC)(link)
Oh well, then I suppose its okay. :)
Is he a good cuddler?! :)

[identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 07:29 am (UTC)(link)
I've never cuddled him.

I did, however, once fall asleep on [livejournal.com profile] whod81.

[identity profile] iansha.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 07:30 am (UTC)(link)
What a lucky girl!
Now if I can only get you over to my place to sleep cuddle with me!

[identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 08:03 am (UTC)(link)
I would really like to sleep with cuddle you.

[identity profile] iansha.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 08:12 am (UTC)(link)
Woooooooo!!!!
I'm such a hot and bothered lucky girl!

[identity profile] laughingsal.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 05:59 am (UTC)(link)
I seriously needed boy time last night. Maybe next week pizza and a movie? I wanna cuddle on the couch, too!

[identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
I'm always up for doing whatever with you. Jen's not coming to visit me anymore, so I have lots more time to do stuff during the week or whatever, and next weekend, you can meet [livejournal.com profile] jost!

[identity profile] laughingsal.livejournal.com 2002-05-17 06:24 am (UTC)(link)
That's memorial day weekend, right? Andy's got a wedding that I'm not invited to, so I may be staying in town, or going to a festival near Rockbridge. In any case, I'll be looking for something to do. I'll pass on my real email address soon. Let me know what your schedule is like.

[identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com 2002-05-20 07:12 am (UTC)(link)
I'd love to do something with you next weekend. I don't get to spend enough time with you!

As for my schedule, I get out of work on Fridays at 1pm. That night, I have to pick [livejournal.com profile] jost up from the airport and probably deliver him to [livejournal.com profile] binkiegirl's and [livejournal.com profile] dietbubba's house. The rest of the weekend is up in the air, and I have Monday off. YAY!

[identity profile] laughingsal.livejournal.com 2002-05-20 07:52 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know if this will appeal to you at all, but I am thinking of going to Mansfield to help out my friend Connie (Cary met her on Earth Day) at the state run farm (Malabar) up there. It will involve camping, hanging out with cool people, harvesting food, working stands, free meals and payment in the form of plants and produce. It's near the tree that was made famous in Shawshank Redemption. Interested? It's still up in the air, but I thought it might be cool. Then maybe I can start a garden in my backyard, if it ever gets warm.

[identity profile] judecorp.livejournal.com 2002-05-21 06:10 am (UTC)(link)
It does, actually, appeal to me, but when is it? Since [livejournal.com profile] jost is visiting from out of town, I'd like to see him as much as I can.

But gimme details, baby. Awwwh yeah.

I don't remember ever saying that anything would be perfect. I just think it would be fun to camp out in sleeping bags in front of the TV.

Doesn't matter.
