To go, or not to go? That is the question.

I've had a sore throat and an earache on and off (ibuprofen takes care of it very nicely, it seems) for the past two days or so. I'm trying to decide if I want to walk down to the urgent care place that may or may not be in my insurance network (no one can seem to tell me for sure). I am so damned stubborn it's not even funny. Last night I was feeling pretty horrible and was certain that I was going to go this morning. Now it's not bothering me as much and I'm wondering if I should bother, what with the $25 copay and whatever I'd have to pay for a prescription. *sigh*

I hate deciding these things. I have to decide really soon so I have time to get ready for work. Bleh.

Or you go to urgent care that you know is in-network and you find out when you get the bill that the doctor they decided to assign you there was a contracted one that's out of your network and so you owe another $150.

I think I will go to work today as usual. If I still feel crappy (or worse, I suppose), I can duck out a little early and catch Urgent Care before they close at 10pm.

The good news is that it's just sinusitis and not an ear infection. (Or strep, even though my throat looked funny this morning.)

When you do go, trick them into prescribing you the pink liquid stuff that they give to little kids, I used to love that stuff... mmm, so tasty.

I'm allergic to the pink liquid stuff. But if I should ever get some of that noxious bubblegum liquid (you can get it at the vet, you know), I'll send it your way. :)
