Lobstah dinnah

p.s. Jennifer made lobstahs in the lobstah pot I got her for our anniversary. And that was cool, except that I learned today that buying live lobstahs at the store and putting them in a lobstah bag and thinking about their impending demise just plain makes me sad for them. So I had to go in the other room and do my taxes while they were, erm, turning red. Poor widdle lobstahs, removed from their tank with all of their friends, alive when they came into my home...

But they sure were yumm-ay!

Do you know why they put rubber bands around the claws of all those lobsters in the tank with all their little friends? So they won't go all snicker-snack on whoever's fingers might be reaching in to pull them out of the tank, right? Well, not exactly.

See, those little lobsters in the tank aren't exactly friends. If they didn't all have rubber bands on their claws, they'd tear each other apart.

Just sayin'... not so friendly in there, really.
