Catsup
Wow, I took the weekend off the internet and I only had about 215 LJ entries to go back. Amazing! You guys were kind of quiet. (Thanks.)
This past weekend I celebrated the 30th birthday of my best friend in the universe. We celebrated by sitting our lazy asses on her couch in our pajamas all freaking day while watching mindless television and movies. And I took a nap. And she taught me how to knit.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I AM A KNITTER.
Oh yeah. I rule.

Re: Woo!
And there's no better way to keep you interested than by surrounding you with delicious yarns and cool other knitters? And after we knit for a while we go out for junk food and beers. It's all good =)

Count me in!
Re: Woo!
Yeah, we often go to Doyle's, or for other yumminess in JP for dinner after knitting at the shop for a while. I'm not going this Saturday due to Widget duty, but any Saturday evening you're free after this one, lemme know!

Totally OT
Re: Totally OT
I never read How I Became Stupid. I've actually never even heard of it. Tell me more about it?
Re: Totally OT
The book is a short fun little read about one guys's attempts to stop thinking so much and being analytical and do whatever it takes to join the masses of those not burdened by such problems. A little pretentious at times, but a cute book.
