Holy crap, that guy from Strictly Ballroom is so incredibly effing hot. It has been quite a while (since my Edward Norton days, maybe?) since I have fallen head over heels in lust with a man on screen, but DEAR GODS, PEOPLE, look at this man!

I am going to have one million of his very hot babies. NOW. (And how did I manage to miss this movie before, being the Baz Luhrmann nut that I am? Love love love love.)

It's been on my Netflix queue forEVER, and I got tired of waiting (I don't go through my queue very quickly lately) so I took it out from the library. And now I want to watch it a million billion more times.

(Too bad I don't have the time.)

I was so psyched that Strictly Ballroom did for dancing /exactly/ what Moulin Rouge did for music and Romeo + Juliet did for Shakespeare.

Yeah, I IMDB'd him when I finished watching, that's how I got his name.

But I've never heard of this moviestock thing. What on earth?

The Hollywood Stock Exchange. You're given two million HSX-bucks to "invest" in a plethora of movies and people and funds and options and stuff, like a stock exchange. And depending on how well they do at the box office and how "hot" they are, your portfolio grows. I just topped the thirty million mark -- I've been doing this for a few years now though.

For example, I invested HEAVILY in what was once "The Unknown Cameron Crowe/Tom Cruise Project." It became "Vanilla Sky." I made a lot of HSX-cash on that one.

I also invested HEAVILY in "The Unknown Harrison Ford/John Woo Project," and I have lost a ton of HSX-cash on that one -- the project's been shelved.

(I like unknown projects, if you haven't been able to tell.)

And the length of this post further cements that I am a Movie Geek.
