We'll see if I get my period on my own this month, so I can start taking Clomid. If not, I'll take Provera before we leave for New Orleans, and hopefully we'll do our first IUI in the first two weeks of April.
think of it this way... better on sperm than the focus....
i mean, sperm can 1. really get you where you want to go... (babies) 2. travel really really fast 3. and when they reach their final destination, they will shout "hooray!"
Well, get hooked up with a local bank. New England Cryogenic is in Brookline! Go get yourself all analyzed or whatever. (But I don't know how much they pay per, erm, deposit.)
Because I love you very much and I know you have only good intentions, I will tell you that our sole decision, really, in choosing a donor was one with some of Jen's ethnic history, as well as her hair/eye color. That's all. Oh, and a healthy background.
But I'm also not sure why people (not just you, just that you put it here and besides, we're close enough that I trust you not to take this personally or have hurt feelings or think I'm mad or whatever) are so interested in who the man is or what he may/may not be like. After all, he has nothing to do with us or our plan to be parents. Jen and I are the only people anyone needs to worry about. :)
Three vials, $295/vial, plus $75 for courier delivery to the doctor. At one shot/cycle, that gives us three tries. I don't know what we'll do if it doesn't work before we start to go broke. Stop, I guess.
We'll also soon owe $330 at my doctor's office to store our vials on ice. Ouch.
I definitely want to get together - what does your schedule look like so we can pick a good day/time? Heck, maybe I'll be ovulating, and then we can DO IT and you can put that sperm to good use. ;)

We got three vials, and courier shipping (on dry ice) to my doctor's office. That's all.

How many cycles will you get from that? How many are you doing a "month"?

1000...
Oh, and I hope to be onshore tomorrow, and so if you would like to meet in n.o. then we just need to set up a time and place.
ps. I will let you know if I see any navy seamen down here.
