Furniture and pie

Today Jen did a little paint touch-up in the kid room and then we got to work on assembling the kid furniture. Eryn and Amy came to help AND brought us a squash pie! (They remembered that I loved their last one from our Superbowl Party so much that I devoured it and randomly made me another! How cool is that??!?!) Oh my goodness, I have already had two pieces of pie today. SOMEBODY STOP ME!

Now how often does someone help you do some sort of project AND bakes you a pie from scratch? I mean, really. When does this happen? YOU HAVE TO LOVE THESE PEOPLE, people!

Mmmmmmm, squash pie! And now the kid room has a crib, dresser/changing table, and toy box. Whee! (It's awfully weird to see that stuff in there.)

I have a box of baby-ish things to send you. Some of them are the cute clothes I can't stand to send to a consignment store or goodwill, and they may be things you can use. And if you get them from your registry or something, you can always take the new ones back and use these. Or, alternately, you can just toss them in the trash or the goodwill pile and never tell me such things.
