Daedalus tries desperately to let himself out of the house. He was VERY displeased that I was on the outside of the screen door without him. After a few seconds of whining and dancing about, he opted to take matters in his own paws.

He's so frickin' cute.

funny. last night, I was talking on the phone as I was walking into the house and Howard zipped through... never saw him. So i'm sitting on the couch and here this faint little mew, so I check every door, closet, room. Turns out he was in the garage. Still don't know how I didn't see him sneak by.

Awwwh, poor little guy made the big escape and then changed his mind! I think Daedalus would really like having some time outside but I'm too worried about cars and coyotes and things like that. I'm just a paranoid mama who loves her kitties!

Please do. You don't even have to work. You can come play with cats and eat lots of hamburgers. We still have SO much picnic food it is not even funny.

Omega will do something like that. Only... she stands on her hind legs, and paws at the window. (She also does it to the bathtub and anything that's shiny. We have odd cats.)

Ha ha, Daedalus likes to scratch at shiny, smooth things too! He is especially fond of the bathtub, windows, and mirrors. He will do it in the laundry basket too but it doesn't seem as nice for him.

How big is Daedalus?

He looks a lot like my Fender-kitty, who weighed 15 pounds at the beginning of the month. (He practically had ribs showing at 12 pounds when he joined us in January.)

Around December or so, D weighed 17 and change. He previously weighed 19 about 3 years ago. He is a good size boy!
