Well, with gas prices being what they are, this might be feasible. We have food that I've been cooking all fall and winter that I'd be more than happy to share if you guys would like a free meal or several. If you want to use some of your new free time to take a little trip out this way, give me a heads-up and I can give you some soups and/or casseroles that make great meals, especially with some fresh bread, which I would also be more than happy to throw together for you. (You know how much I like cooking.)
I'll be off in three weeks anyhow and could meet up with you somewhere closer to your place as well.
Finally, I haven't read through all the comments but do you now qualify for unemployment since they let you go instead of you just quitting?
