Update:

Apologies to some people. I had a couple of filtered posts about things going on with my job, but let me just say briefly that:

1. I gave 30 days notice on March 16th.
2. Yesterday I received an e-mail telling me to never come back to the office.

I'm pretty sure they can't legally retaliate for you having given notice, and regardless of whether that is why they retaliated, they would have a very hard time convincing a judge. If they don't pay you thru the notice date you gave, this is a firing without cause, and you get unemployment benefits (which they have to pay for anyway). I'm no expert, but it may be worth seeing if you have an employment lawyer anywhere in your social networks that could run through your rights real quick. Incidentally, they also had to legally hand you a check with ALL your remaining compensation when this happened, and I'm wondering if you get triple because they didn't or something. Look into it. Psychobitch needs a good screwing.

Whuffle and I talked about this last night and she pointed out it's illegal for them to deny you the chance to clean out your desk yourself,. They can watch and have security there, but you have the legal right to do it yourself.

Your ex boss bent and broke a few labor laws and she may be guilty of trying to prevent you from getting work in the industry, which is in and of itself illegal. It's why "no compete" clauses are unenforceable.

Skreeky already covered most the other points Whuffle made in the conversation I had with her this past weekend.

On a side note, a lot of the things she's been saying behind your back would constitute slander. I'd like to second Skreeky's recommendation of talking to an employment lawyer.
