Long time! Anyway, with my first kid, I broke out all the sticker charts and rewards, etc. She pooped for the first time in the potty around the same as as Gus, but wasn't actually "trained" until 3 and a half. it was a solid year and a half of starts and stops, and I was vaguely worried that she would NEVER fully transition.
With abby, she was completely trained at 2 and a half, with no encouragement but a low key "good job", b/c i thought she was just starting the year long process. But one day, she just stopped using diapers. At all. With no accidents.

so, i'd recommend cautious optimism. yay gus!
