Hang up the chick habit!

judecorpSo, like, weird drunk chicks were all over me last night.
I was door girl at Club 202 last night for the Michelle Malone show, and my job was to help Eddie (the real door person) check IDs so that Coworker Hope and Erika could take money. I had a marker (hee, Eddie said it was made especially for me because it said "Fun Pro" and everyone knows I am a Fun Pro) to mark hands, and wimmin were asking me to draw things on them. I got requests for a smiley face, a tree, and then, get this, a PowerPuff Girl.
I am not an artist. Say it with me.
The smiley face and the tree were no problem. Heck, I can even make birds out of M's like in grammar school afterall. But the PowerPuff Girl? I did my best Buttercup on this chick's inner forearm and she went on her merry way. She came back later, though, several drinks later, to tell me that no one knew what was on her arm (it was partially smudged by this point), and that people thought it was "some person from Fat Albert" (I'm assuming Mushmouth). I tried my best to fix it.
All the while, her hand is on my shoulder, my knee. Finally she gives me this enormous hug and kisses my forehead and says, "My name is Jake." I was like, "Umm, I'm Jude" and curled into my little world of No Drunk Chicks. Ms. Jake touched my knee again and left, only to appear several drinks later when Hope was gone. She stood behind me and told me she was "hiding." Ooooookay.
There was someone named Jamie who worked at the club and kept touching me. She also kept confusing me with Hope, and I think she was dealing with us interchangeably. She spent most of the night touching my knee or elbow when she would ask me things (about the IDing, and did I want a drink, etc.), but at the end of the night, she tried to kiss Hope. Hee hee!
So I'm starting to think that, while having drunk wimmin touch all over you isn't always the coolest thing ever, I'm in a good place. The right place, even. Nice for a change.
