That's me.

I have been going to bed early, getting up early. Jig and I spent yesterday at Bob's nerd-b-que, which was fun, though it involved 300 miles of driving that, due to construction and traffic, took over 6 hours. Traffic wipes a person out.

Not much else to say at the moment. The recent version of "A Midsummer Night's Dream," the one with Calista Flockhart, Rupert Everett, etc., isn't nearly as bad as I thought. AND it has Christian Bale in it. I had no idea. I recently found him in "Swing Kids," too. Where has he been all my life?

Mark hasn't been online at all since Wednesday night. No matter how many people tell me it's silly to do so, I worry.

Time to shower.

I just can't think Christian Bale gets any better than in Velvet Goldmine.

*swoon*

Then again, I know Jonanthan Rhys Meyers doesn't. Blue is his colour.

Whatever happen to Swing Kids II?

I mean, come on...no movie has ever touched me so deeply as that one. It was about dancing, and Nazies, and, well more dancing. And what the hell *was* Kenneth Braun doing in that movie anyway? Probably trying to raise money for his five hour 'Hamlet' I reckon. Oh well, and remember...There are no more good German songs, only Nazi songs.

Oh, we won't even get started on Velvet Goldmine.

I think Christian Bale should be in love with me.

It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing. Doo wah doo wah doo wah doo wah.

Kenneth Brannaugh is a god. Sometimes. But what /was/ he doing in that movie? I want to see more of Christian Bale and Robert Sean Leonard fighting or something, because then that would mean they get sweaty.

Bent. It had dancing, and Nazis, and gay men in concentration camps. It had Mick Jagger in drag. I had read the play over and over as a teenager and yet I still bawled for weeks upon seeing the film.

It was very, very disturbing, but in a productive way.

(Not to confuse it with Rent, which also makes me cry every time.)
