Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down

What have I been doing lately? Lessee...
Thursday night I left class at half-time and didn't come back. I was feeling very tired and just could not sit in the chair anymore. Yay!
Friday I went to work, ate lunch with Coworker Hope, and then eventually got ice cream with Carina and Ryan. Came home, showered, and met up with Lara to go see Flogging Molly and The Slackers. Jodie, if you read this, go see Flogging Molly if you ever get the chance. I think you'll really like them. You trusted me about Black 47, so trust me on this one, too. They're Celtic rock, but harder and more punkish. They're still hysterically drunk, though, and the songs are funny. I only wish I'd been feeling better, so I could have been more energetic. I had a lot of fun, though, even though my Grateful Dead was just a big cup full of sour mix.
NORWICHFEST!!
This morning I got up and felt lousy enough to take decongestants (it's allergy season, yay) before kickboxing. There were only a few people there so we got a lot of individualized attention, and the class kicked my butt. Serious workout, yay. Got home, showered, and met up with Patti and Lara at Vic's, and were later joined by Dianna, Carina, Steve, Missy Goodtimes and Andy, and some guy named Ben. Ate, drank, played Rummikub.
I'm home now, it's raining, I still feel lousy, and I am volunteering at the after-Prom all-night party at Kaleidoscope, which I am not looking forward to. I'm exhausted, and the idea of being at a party until 10am or so is not very appealing. Maybe I can catch a nap first or something.
This is a boring post, yes indeedy. Another rainy weekend in
columbus.
