I'm really enjoying this "living all alone" thing. Jodie was so right. I think I will plop in front of my television in my jammies and watch Go Fish, since Netflix was kind enough to deliver it today.

I finished cleaning out my old apartment this evening, and tomorrow I will turn in the keys. That will check another thing off my list. I secured renter's insurance for my new place today, and made an appointment to take my licensure exam on Monday. Check. Check. I even did laundry at my old apartment while I was cleaning.

I got to see my lovely Julie this afternoon, which is good because she's headed back home tonight. I get to see her and my Chaz next week, though, so it's all good. YAY! I introduced her to the wonders of Chipotle and Maggie Moo's.

Once I get back from bringing the keys to Fox and Hounds tomorrow, I'm going to park my car and not move it all weekend, otherwise I won't have a place to park, what with Pride and ComFest going on. I wonder if I can find a way (bus?) to kickboxing on Saturday morning. I skipped on Wednesday to play with Carina, so I really should go.

I need a haircut. The back's getting bushy, and Steve has taken to reminding me that I have a Pete Rose haircut. Ugh!

My final electric bill for the old apartment came today. Final final final. Yay. I think the post office is messing with me, though. They've taken our names off the old mailbox, so obviously they've processed my mail forwarding request, but I'm not getting any forwarded mail. This concerns me. I usually get much more mail than this. I'm also expecting a postcard from [livejournal.com profile] auntiesiannan.

I'm going home to visit my parents next week. I don't really want to leave my car on the street unattended for nearly a week. I need to figure out what to do about that.

B52s. Pride. Indigo Girls. ComFest. This is going to be a fun little weekend. :)

I should really start looking for jobs now.

I've seen so many movies lately, new and old. The Bourne Identity, Scooby Doo, Lilo and Stitch, Minority Report, The Breakfast Club, 12 Monkeys... I feel so couch potato. :)

I got to talk to my Stinky B tonight. He called from Philmont. We had a lovely chat about how we love Philmont. I won't work there anymore, though, because of the BSA's policy about queer people. Apparently some people have told B that he should be a District Executive (a job I once aspired to), and he said he wouldn't do it because of the BSA's philosophies on GLBT people. I love my B.

I love Bucky's Adam because he asks someone, within 20 minutes of meeting her, "So what's the biggest thing you've ever put in your vagina?" HA HA HA HA HA. He makes me laugh.

I'm worried about my Carina.

Bucky said this apartment may have had a murder in it. That's kind of neat in a morbid sort of way. I love this apartment. I love it because it's mine. I love it because of my neighborhood. I love it because I'm alone in it.

My Robby called me tonight for the first time in forever. He is trying to get an Indigo Girls ticket and has no one to go with, so I told him that if he got one he could sit with me and Melissa. I haven't seen him in so long! Yay!

People should come visit me at Pride. I will be staffing the Kaleidoscope table from 4-5 on Saturday. :)

I will stop rambling now.
