Oct. 18th, 2002 03:25 pmFirst, I wanted to extend a very large THANK YOU to the lots of people who wished me a happy birthday via LiveJournal. There were so many of you, and I feel so electronically loved! And extra special thank yous to
doulamel,
mrmoe,
hopemcg,
rizzo41, Matante Chrissy and Tiff for the e-cards.
Second, I wanted to extend a very large THANK YOU to the people who sent me birthday love via telephone:
cappucinogrrl, my mommy,
356dreamer,
jost, my
kieron,
smurfbrother,
lorac and Dory,
rizzo41, and... get this, get this... BRANDIE'S MOM, who called to sing to me (Happy birthday, friend of Brandie's...). She is so awesome. I <3 Brandie's Mom. I talked to my daddy too, but I had to call him for that.
My
lorac sent me the cutest tshirt. I'm saving it for the birthday party on Saturday. Thank you, Carol Jean!
My best girl gave me a Crayola crayon maker (which is the coolest thing ever) and a book of cover art from lesbian pulp novels. Yay!
The case management team at work gave me a little pizza party and all signed a card. Coworker Sandra made me a birthday hat out of a witch's hat and orange streamers. YAY! Today, Coworker Jennifer brought in a little cake, and she and I ate cake with Coworker Ruby. I had a really great talk with Ruby this afternoon and now I like her even more.
Tonight, as part of my birthday gift for Jennifer, I'm taking her to see CATCO's production of The Laramie Project by Moises Kaufman. I'm really looking forward to it.
There are so many words in my head and my heart right now, but none of them are reaching my fingers. Trust that I'm thinking of you and love you all very very much. Thank you!
