We just came back from seeing Open Water with saltyponySPOON. Now, I'm no sharkaeologist or whatever, but it seemed pretty plausible to me. I don't know if I'm in any kind of hurry to go diving, yanno?

That said, the movie's not worth it. At all. Save your $10 and spend it on something more worthwhile. Like pocket lint.

Work just keeps getting more interesting. I still have the worst luck building a caseload. I also find that I'm feeling more and more like a hack the more I get involved with families. I mean, really - what the heck do I know about speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, or physical therapy? I feel like families' insurance is paying big bucks for me to come in and do Early Intervention and that I don't know enough about what I'm doing to make it worthwhile.

I sure hope I learn more stuff PRONTO.

I feel so domestic.

I got up, did dishes, put laundry away, made the bed, and tidied up. Then I sent out some e-mails, took a shower at the request of [livejournal.com profile] auntiesiannan, got dressed, put the laundry hamper back together, and went to Lambert's to buy delicious produce.

And not only did I buy portabello mushrooms for my smoochie (who will be quite happy when she finds out, I think, she always wants them but at the grocery store they are too asspensive), but I also took home all the produce and washed it, and promptly made a fresh fruit salad for two for when she comes home from work tonight. I cut up apples, a peach, some blueberries, and some raspberries.

I love Lambert's! It makes me feel so small town to go into a market like that, and it makes me feel so much better to support a local business. Yay.

Also, who is going to do something fun with me today?
