judecorp: (i am stupid)
Well, I made it to the gym again! Nothing big this time, just 2 miles on the treadmill at a speed-walky pace, then weights for legs, then some crunches. If I can keep this up, I'll be buff in no time!

I was on the phone with my father a while ago to get tax information, and he said I should just pick up rowing again. (I wish, if I could manage the 5AM mornings and the boathouse fees!) He said, and I quote, "You should do that rowing again. You were a real Amazon." RAWR. Those were the days. I miss being studly.

I navigated a trip to the grocery store and successfully avoided all of the bad foods except for the chips that are for the Superbowl tomorrow. How sad. There are no delicious fattening snackies in our home. Sad sad sad. I do love me some fattening snackies.

I did my taxes tonight and I will be getting about $500 back. That's not too shabby! I'm all stupid excited because next year My Jennifer and I can file a joint return in Massachusetts. Woo-hah! (The plan is to get a marriage license soon and then maybe try to run off to P-town for a weekend to get "destination hitched." We'll see.) I'm such a dork sometimes.

2005: The year I get buff, get married, turn 30, and rampage.

p.s. Jennifer made lobstahs in the lobstah pot I got her for our anniversary. And that was cool, except that I learned today that buying live lobstahs at the store and putting them in a lobstah bag and thinking about their impending demise just plain makes me sad for them. So I had to go in the other room and do my taxes while they were, erm, turning red. Poor widdle lobstahs, removed from their tank with all of their friends, alive when they came into my home...

But they sure were yumm-ay!
