Social weekend
May. 1st, 2005 08:04 pmToday I did something that I rarely do - I made plans with some coworkers. About a month ago, five of us went to a play therapy conference and the presenter did this cool thing with rubber stamps. Coworker Grace is an art therapist, so she suggested having everyone over for a stamp-making party. The five of us met at her place today and brought food and drinks. Good times.
The four coworkers at the get-together are arguably four of my five favorites, so I would definitely do it again. We ended up not making any stamps, though. We spent the whole time talking. It was so... girly.
Coworker Grace's apartment is /amazing/. She lives near the Fleet Center in this 25-story building in a schwank apartment rented by her boyfriend, a doctor. Not too shabby. It was SO not what I'm used to seeing - everything matched and was all impeccable. I was afraid to touch anything!
This was a remarkably social weekend. Friday night we had dinner at Shani and Matt's, where I played much Super Mario Bros. until I saved the princess. Saturday night I went to Dan and Kristine's for monthly game night. Today I had coworker day. How uncharacteristic of me.
