Fertility Junkie

I am so, so tired. I thought I had kicked this cold but I feel like another cold is trying to piggyback on top of it. Either that, or the lingering cough is just bothering my throat. I hope it's the latter. I woke up early this morning (6:30) and couldn't go back to sleep, so maybe that's the culprit. Although I have to get up early tomorrow because I am a damned fool.

I usually have 2-3 hours of appointments on Fridays and leave at 1pm. Tomorrow's schedule looks like this: 8-10 assessment, 11-12 day care visit, 12-1 home visit, 1-3 assessment, 3-4 home visit. *dies*

I got last-minute cancelled for my last visit tonight so I was able to entertain Ms. Hannah Banana while her parents went to Parents' Night at her school. I read her Neil Gaiman's children's books and they were a big hit. She loved The Wolves in the Walls so much that I lent it to her. Sharing the Gaiman love at a young age! Because I had Teh Hannah, I didn't feel like doing Teh Cooking, so we ordered pizza. I need to stop eating crap food BIG TIME. However, I ordered a salad too and gorged on that first so I didn't overeat pizza. That has worked pretty well for me lately.

Of course, I had small pieces of TWO birthday cakes at work today - one at lunch after a kid's birthday and another at a home visit for a baby's first birthday. I didn't want to eat the second one but you just can't say no to food with Vietnamese families. As it is, I think I kind of insulted the mom by not eating the whole piece. Sigh.

I'm back to nightly shooting up in the gut. Good times. I am a fertility junkie.
