Productive

I was on fire this morning. By 10am, I had run the dishwasher, changed and washed the sheets, made a grocery list, did some general picking up, and was ready to head out the door. By lunch time our house was full of delicious foodles. I realized when I got home that I should probably start buying less food and trying to use up everything we have, but I'm never very good at that. It's probably easier just to move the stuff we haven't used by then, heck, even the freezer stuff can go in a cooler with ice for two hours probably.

While I did all of this work, the cats laid around and slept. Daedalus snored the whole time as if to mock me, his nose tucked under his little paw-paw. Frickin' lazy buggers.

In other news, I'm supposed to go to a karaoke birthday party for Coworker Sarah's fiance's 30th birthday. And for whatever reason, it is expected that I participate in the karaoke-ness. I have never karaoke-d in my life. (I love how I keep using 'karaoke' as a verb.) Does anyone have any song suggestions for me? Come on now, what just screams "Jude" and "Karaoke Madness" all in the same sentence? Dilemma.
