Rain rain go away

What a cruddy day. At least it will make it easier to stay at work. The last handful of days have been so gorgeous and so beautiful, it's been painful to sit in an office. I miss having a job where I am out in the sunshine all day cruising through the community, taking families to the park, etc. I also miss the fact that by now I would be wrapping up my productivity for the year and preparing to coast on low-effort until the next fiscal year. Aah well.

Tomorrow is the Queer Prom at UMass and while I am psyched that the Valley has a Queer Prom, I am not thoroughly jazzed at having to go work it. I like the people that I know and it will be fun to see them having a good time, but I don't particularly like coming in on a Saturday to do things like set up, sell tickets, etc. And, umm... I don't really have anything to wear, I don't think. I'll have to go digging. But do I want to spend my Saturday night working? Nah - there is far too much to work on at home.

Speaking of, maybe if it will be crappy tomorrow too I can go into the basement and find some of our stuff. I misplaced everything when we moved everything around and stacked it up when we had water in the basement. I need to find the kid's books and a couple of other things. I went down there the other day to look but everything was stacked and I couldn't get the other boxes down.

Tomorrow, iansha gets married. Yay!

If you are allergic, or if you don't like having tons of cat fur stuck to your clothes, do not EVER sit on this futon in my house. Ever. This is why.

Remember when I was talking about needing to de-fur the couches? Yeah. This is "the cat couch" and people never sit on it, only cats. But now they have started claiming the new couch, too.
