Friday: early showing of Spiderman 3, call from Grandma that as of right now nothing dramatic happened during her procedure (some polyps removed, she'll find out more later), and an impromptu sushi dinner at Osaka because nothing else sounded good.

Saturday: Lazy morning, trip to BJs to acquire party food for next weekend (my freezer is now so full of meat it is freaking me out!), a little lounging at home, weird crampy feelings that had me kind of concerned, and then 5 hours of working at the UMass Queer Prom. Where there was dressing up, sparkly decorations, lots of snacky food, and fun with coworkers.

Sunday: Nice morning with cards, impromptu trip to outlet mall in Lee to raid many baby clothes outlets, gratuitous spending of money on adorable little bits of cloth, nice ride home in the spring sun, a stop at the ice cream shop, quick trip to the grocery, and some grilling out before enjoying the Survivor finale.

We are running out of weekends. Must! Have! Weekend! Full! Of! Work! Soon!

Amy wanted me to do that "Seven Things About Me" thing, so here goes. (What Amy wants, Amy gets.)

1. My hair is pretty much black. It is not dyed or tinted. Yes, it is dark. I know. It's actually too dark to dye without a lot of effort (and bleach).

2. My entire family has blue eyes, except for my adopted cousin. Everyone. Both sides of the family. Weird, right? If my baby has brown eyes, I will freak!

3. My MIL is convinced that I am going to leave Jen and break her heart. This, more than any other wacky thing she has ever said about me, makes me sad.

4. I still talk to my ex-husband on a fairly regular basis, probably once a month or so. He's funny.

5. I used to watch a LOT of "Quantum Leap" with my college roommate. In fact, I own the QL album of the songs Sam sang in the episodes. (Look, David, sci fi!!)

6. I am allergic to anime. Okay, not really, but I just don't understand the appeal. I think it's weird. I'm weird. I am friends with tons of people into geek things (comic books, video games, coding, anime, RPGs, etc.) but I don't like any of them. At all. Which means I have little in common with a lot of my friends. WHY IS THAT?

7. I am ridiculously loyal as a friend even when it is bad for me. You know how I still talk to my ex-husband? Yeah well, I'm in touch with pretty much ALL of my exes except one. And I still keep in touch with people I met in kindergarten, elementary school, high school, college, summer camp, old jobs, you name it. I don't like to lose friends.

I'm supposed to tag 7 people, but umm... you choose. Anyone who wants to answer - go ahead and say I tagged you. :)
