So Jodie never got here last night. :( There were crazy storms up and down the Eastern Seaboard and planes were cancelled all over the place. Her 7:20pm flight was delayed to 9pm, then 11pm, then indefinitely. Eventually she just had to go home because it was cancelled. I'm sad about it. I was /really/ looking forward to this weekend, but what can you do?

Ryan says he's going to the Irish Festival with me tonight to see Black 47. YAY!

Everyone should own at least one copy of EVERY Indigo Girls album. Plus all compilations they sing on (like Deadicated, for example). I know some crazies who even buy every album they sing backup on one song on...

My sister has announced she wants to take me shopping as a birthday gift. I wonder if she'd object to hitting downtown Denver so I can go to Mod Livin' and some vintage and architectural salvage places. Being the Shoe Queen, she'd probably freak, but hey. I want to find a swank cocktail shaker and Mod Livin' has them in spades. Besides, there's a couture vintage shop having a 2-for-1 sale we can hit along the way.

I'm not much for the glasses, but when I saw them at the yard sale, I knew she would love them. I got online and IMed her about them and she was like "GO GET THEM NOW!". $1 later, and they will look totally fabulous on her. She's so much more glamorous than I am.
