judecorpI am currently making Tuna Helper (au gratin), substituting LOBSTER MEAT for canned tuna. It smells so good, the combination of lobster and cheesy goodness, that I can hardly wait. *drool*
Work was good today. I got to shadow a woman who works at the Men's Shelter, and she was very good about explaining things to me. It seems like my job will never be boring (yay), and when she gets her LISW (she just passed the test), she agreed to supervise me, YAY! And then I found out that one of my favorite sex education workers (whom I met when she would come to Phoenix Pride to educate the youth) also distributes condoms to the shelters, so I got to catch up with Ria. Double YAY!
This is going to be good. I can just feel it. The only awkwardness is that the woman who hired me (Tammy) is on her way out. I liked her at the interview, but it seems like the rest of the staff really disliked her, so they keep trash talking her. That's a little awkward for me since I don't know anything about the issues. We interviewed two people for her position today, though. It's cool - I've been there for 2 days and I have a say in the hiring process. Score!
