If you're a Michael Moore fan, you'd likely appreciate my latest post in my journal (I'm probably not going to post until later in the day Saturday, so it should still be the most recent post if you went over and checked before then). It's a bit of a rant that I had because I've gotten sick and tired of people being so paternalistic towards me about my politics.
I'd love to see "Bowling for Columbine" soon. Just don't know if I'll be able to. That pesky money thing is getting in the way again. :(
Can't wait to hear more about it. I want to see it something awful but I don't think it's showing anywhere within a reasonable drive. I'll have to keep an ear out and see if it's ever shown in Raleigh; I think Robert would be willing to drive that far to see it. (:
ObFanGirlPlug: when it was in production, I was contacted by research assistant Gillian wanting to talk to me when they were in Denver, but I was in NC at the time ): they found me through the k12.jeffco.co.us newsgroups.
I'm so so so so so SO glad I don't live in Bumfuck, Maine anymore. I can't imagine living somewhere where I would miss so much stuff. I hope you get a chance to see it. How far is Raleigh?
I saw it today with Sean. I was sooo amazed. It makes me want to get back into my politics and stuff. Who knew there could be so many hilarious scenes in a documentary?
I've been a Michael Moore fan ever since I first saw "TV Nation" back in the early 1990s. It was through nodding and agreeing with what he had to say that I realized how far-left my politics are. :)
Right now, the main thing keeping me from going up there is the fact that Robert's driving to work until his arm heals. Also, everyone [military] here is on long hours with an upcoming inspection so they're either working or sleeping. Maybe after the frenzy dies down.

I've never really been all that much of a Michael Moore fan, but maybe I should be. :)
