What a day!
Mar. 5th, 2003 07:38 pmToday I had client contact hours for 7.5 of the 8 hours I was at work. And I probably only had 5 of those hours scheduled. And there was something in the water, that's for sure. From the forged work letter to the Man Who Does Not Shut UpTM and told me he was in love with me, I tell ya, I need a vacation. Isn't it Friday yet?
I can't believe someone would hand me a hand-typed note riddled with spelling errors and grammatical mistakes (I mean, even the name of the company was misspelled!) and not expect me to call the "Officer Manger" on the letter. And then to sit in front of me while I call the person (who tells me that not only did he not write that letter, but that the client was fired from that job several months ago) and tell me that the letter is real! And then, when I dial the number so the client can call the employer himself, to hang up and have a pretend conversation with the employer? I tell ya, people must think I'm nuts! Or maybe I am. :)
