Fat : Counterfat
Apr. 9th, 2003 09:49 amI always pack myself these totally healthy lunches. Today, for example, I have a "Lean Pocket," a yogurt, a pear, and some diet soda. And then I go out to eat at night, almost every night, and eat crap. And I crave junk food. And I drive myself insane.
In the summer of 2001, I lost about 20 pounds. Whoomp, there it is - right back where it started.
I blame
Sean.

Date: 2003-04-09 08:50 am (UTC)I have been eating a bit better thanks to
I think she's going to put together a diet plan for me. One that may enable me to continue my frequent trips to Chipotle, but will most likely mean giving up my beloved SoBe. I love the stuff, but I'm sure there's way too much sugar in it.
Now, if I could only motivate myself to pull my bicycle out of the garage and ride, ride, ride!

Date: 2003-04-09 07:01 pm (UTC)When I lost all the weight that summer, I wasn't eating much. I guess I was too busy, and wasn't eating out. I would, like, have a peanut butter sandwich for lunch, and something similar for dinner. And I went for like a 3 mile walk every night.
I need to start doing that sort of thing again. Limit the eating out, increasing the walking/biking.
And I would LOVE to go for a bike ride, but keep in mind that I am a wuss.

Date: 2003-04-09 07:25 pm (UTC)I'm lactose intolerant.
We also believe I'm allergic to every possible food stuff in the world. Everything I eat upsets my stomach. One of these days,

Date: 2003-04-09 09:13 pm (UTC)Oh wait, that's why I am crazy right now. One more dose of Levaquin and I'm going to be eating myself sick on Friday after watching the husband and midget have ice cream and cheesecake and pasta with cream in the sauce and all the other things I haven't been allowed because of the meds.
It'll probably even be good for me since no dairy has pretty much ruined my daily intake. How can I live without the major food group of cheese?

Date: 2003-04-10 07:38 pm (UTC)On the one hand, she was looking for a baseline of what I ate, I'm sure. However, it also affected my eating habits. I mean, do you want to go back to the doctor with "Big Mac and super-sized fries" or "3 Moon pies" or some such listed in your journal?
