I am /tired/. I got up fairly early this morning but didn't get out of bed until noon. (Heh.) I went for a bike ride with
vorpalbla and that was a really great and fun ride. We went from my house to the bike path to Berliner Park and back. I love the urban biking - where you go under train tressels and along busy streets. I am definitely a City Kid. So after the bike ride, we met up with Jennifer and walked to Barley's for lunch. We walked through Goodale Park on the way home, and Jeff left, and Jen and I did laundry. Busy day!
Yesterday, I took my car back to the dealership to find out about the engine light. It came on after my oil change last Friday, so I thought maybe they had done something to Gargamel. It turns out that my rear O2 sensor was dead. When they called to tell me, I asked if that was covered under my extended warranty. When I bought the car, I bought the 5-year warranty and I've never used it. It expires on May 12th! So she called the warranty company and it turns out that they /did/ cover the O2 sensor - and they would also cover a new oil pan and gasket (since my oil pan was leaking). So I ended up getting $400 worth of car repairs for a $50 deductible. YAY! I got a big fat apology because they /should/ have noticed the oil pan leak when they changed my oil last week, and they didn't because they didn't do the inspection. Those rat bastards! Anyway, Jen and I drove around Hilliard and Dublin, went to Best Buy, and then did some other junk at her apartment while we waited for my car. After that, I went to Kaleidoscope to volunteer at their dance. It's weird - so many of the current youth have LJs... and they know my personal life! Eek! What's weird is that KYC is being run by a new Board of Directors and things seem so /different/. Poo. I'm not sure how I feel about that. But there was a lot of leftover food from the event so Jen and I brought it all to Faith on 8th.
On Friday night, I got a schwank haircut (I had her cut it all uneven lengths, just for fun.) and didn't get a ticket, even though I had to park illegally due to Heritage Festival. Jen and I found a geocache (A Safe Place?) to put the travel bug in, then went to Asian Star, and then went to visit
pattisimmons for a little while. Very mellow.
