The Gally Interview
Jun. 4th, 2003 07:02 pmIf your brain was composed entirely of Jell-O, what flavor would it be?
DUH. The blue kind.
The aliens come to abduct you forever and ever, and they say you can take one inanimate object with you (plus your toothbrush). What's it going to be?
My digital camera. Where I'm going, it'll come in handy.
How many licks does it take to get to your Tootsie Roll center?
If you're good, about 25 minutes worth. If you're /really/ good, I start to hyperventilate. ;)
If you had to choose either perfect, everlasting love from a distance or a love with a few nicks and cuts, that you might not be able to maintain, but that you could reach out and touch whenever you liked, which would you take?
I believe only in the "nicks and cuts" kind of love, so on principle I'd have to choose that. However, even if both really existed, I would want the Here and Now.
What would you like to be thinking of when you die?
Nothing. I think so damned much that I don't get enough sleep at night. My mind whirrs and whirrs and before I know it, hours have passed and my girl is sleeping soundly. When I die, for /once/ I'd like to shut that damned brain OFF!

Yes.

I think enough has been said about your Tootsie Roll for now.
I agree with your answer to the question of love, and now I've got Jesus Jones in my head:
The context may not be right, but the sentiment certainly is.
Regarding the death thoughts question, though, I probably should have phrased it a little differently. What would you like your last thought on this mortal plane to be? Or something like that. As you pass from this world to the next (or not, depending on your belief of how that whole death business works), of what or whom would your final thoughts be? Would you like to be revisiting some part of your life, would you even be thinking about yourself, or would you like to be thinking about someone else, such as your girl?
Personally, I'd like my final thoughts to revolve around the time that my wife and I spent together, and the relationship we worked so hard to build, patch, and rebuild.
Thank you taking the time to answer my silly questions.

Last thoughts
Date: 2003-06-05 10:59 am (UTC)I guess I'd like my last mortal thought to be, "I'm ready."
