I didn't like Bruce Almighty. I thought it was preachy. And not very funny. And forced. Well, except for the part when the anchor jerk was speaking jibberish. THAT was funny.

But I got to have a date with communista, so it was certainly worth it! (Even if The Girl is too asleep to do more than mumble, "murphmurphlikethemoviemurphloveyoumurphmmmsnore")

did you think it was preachy? i sort of thought so, until the end when it seemed to say that what happens in your life has pretty much everything to do with you and not a whole lot to do with god.

it did have sort of a weird vibe about it, but damn, that one scene was funny. oh, and the monkey coming out of the butt part was really goofy.

Okay, yeah, that monkey thing was pretty goofy, too. Except that that monkey was SO BIG!

I guess I thought they were really forcing it at the end. I don't even know if I can really put it into words. The sight of Jennifer Aniston praying and crying was really a little too much for me. ;)
